Pulkovo Airport is ready for New Year

Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport completed the final preparations for winter celebrations. During New Year holidays, additional flights to Russian and foreign cities will be operated from the northern capital of Russia. Christmas trees, decorations and photo zones greet passengers in the terminal. The airport operates in enhanced mode.

Air Serbia, Brussels Airlines, and SAS will resume traditional New Year flights. In addition, there will be provided direct flights from St. Petersburg to ski resorts in Geneva (SWISS, Rossiya Airlines), Salzburg and Innsbruck (S7 Airlines).

For those who prefer warm countries there will be available charter flights to Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket (Thailand), Varadero (Cuba), Goa (India), Dubai (Al Maktoum, UAE), Nha Trang (Vietnam) and Ovda (Israel).

New Year’s decorations create the festive atmosphere at St. Petersburg airport. Terminal entrances in the arrival zone are adorned with lighted snowman and Christmas tree. Two Christmas trees decorate the interior of the airport: in the check-in hall and in the international departures area. Hundreds of festive stars, snowflakes, wreaths of baubles and garlands adorn check-in counters and interior of Pulkovo Airport. Seven lighted snowmen-musicians greet arriving passengers in the baggage claim area. Website of Pulkovo Airport is “frosted” with virtual snow during New Year holidays.

In addition, from December 28, 2018, to January 7, 2019, Pulkovo Airport and AdVita fund hold a joint charity event. Photo zones with Christmas trees and baubles are installed in the halls of the domestic and international departures. Passengers are welcome to write good wishes on baubles, put them on the trees or take along. Pulkovo Airport has already donated money for the balls to AdVita.
