Changes to the schedule

In accordance with the decision made by the Government of the Russian Federation on March 11, 2020, temporary restrictions on passenger air transportation from the Russian Federation to the Italian Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the French Republic, and the Kingdom of Spain are enforced, starting March 13, 2020.

Arriving passengers control

As of March 13, 2020, the officers of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg are controlling all passengers arriving in St. Petersburg from Europe. The control procedure consists of temperature measurement using thermal scanners and the questioning of passengers.

All passengers arriving in St. Petersburg from China, South Korea and Iran by transit flights also pass the control. In addition to the standard procedure, these passengers are subject to biomaterial collection for testing.

Preventive measures

In accordance with the instruction issued by the Rospotrebnadzor Office in St. Petersburg, Northern Capital Gateway, the operator of Pulkovo Airport, is undertaking the following measures aimed at protecting public health:

  • Regular cleaning of all airport premises, including passenger buses and steps, using special disinfecting agents.
  • Air disinfection using special units installed in the areas designated for passengers.
  • Unscheduled inspection of the airport ventilation system.

  • Supplying airport staff with personal protection equipment (disposable masks and gloves, antiseptics) for interaction with passengers and instructing staff on the need to use the equipment.

Pulkovo Airport is operating on a normal basis.
